HOW THEY MET

December 2016 I was a senior in high school and I went to a house party at Brennan’s parents house. I was talking to a friend and Brennan came up to me while I was talking to a friend and said “we should date.” I rolled my eyes and just walked away. But, after that night I could not stop thinking about him. We started talking the next week and we have been inseparable since. We would spend every minute together we could after that.

THE PROPOSAL

We were going to a trip in Broken Bow, OK to celebrate my college graduation. The trip just happened to be during our 5 year anniversary. Brennan decided two weeks before the trip he wanted to propose and went to Dianna Rae to see if it was possible to get a ring. And he did.
When we were on the trip, the day of our anniversary, we were supposed to be going on a hike, but we ended up on a creek. We had sat down by the lake for at least half an hour. When we decided to leave I was walking ahead of Brennan. He called my name, and when I turned around he was down on one knee.

THE RING

I love how simple and classic my ring is. It is a radiant cut on a solid gold band. It is a ring that is timeless. What drew me to this cut is how it always looks like it’s shining. Brennan and I went to Dianna Rae and tried on a bunch of rings in the jewelry playground. We decided on the ring together and I love it so much.
