HOW THEY MET

Landon and I met in the seventh grade at only 12 years-old. Right away I knew I was in love. During the school year, our families became close and Landon and I became good friends. In eighth grade, we tried “dating” a couple of times but it never seemed to work out. Fast forward to the tenth grade, our sisters played softball together, so Landon and I would hangout during practices and games. I began tutoring him at the practices, which only made my crush on him grow. He finally asked me out, on April 29, 2016, and we have now been together for almost 6 years. We have been so blessed over the years to have each other, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.

THE PROPOSAL

If you have been around the last couple of years, you would know that all I wanted was to get engaged and marry Landon! It was literally all I talked about when we were together and with our friends and families. I thought it wasn’t going to happen until after my graduation in May, so I was so excited and surprised that he did it sooner. Our families helped him plan the most perfect day and proposal. He took me on a date to lunch and the movies, while our families set up everything. When we arrived home, we went to the backyard, where the song ” Marry You” by Bruno Mars was playing, and there was a big heart made out of rose petals and letters that spelt Marry Me. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and it was the easiest yes! The set up was so beautiful and I wouldn’t of changed a thing.

THE RING

My engagement ring holds a special place in my heart, and we were so blessed to have been handed down my grandma’s ring to create my own. Since I was a little girl, she has always promised me her wedding ring. Landon and I went to Dianna Rae were we are able to design and create my dream engagement ring and wedding band using her ring. I will cherish it forever and hopefully one day pass it on to my daughter or granddaughter.
