Mined in Lightning Ridge, a small town in New South Wales, Australia, this exceptional black opal boasts broad flashes of color. Glimmers of red, blue, green can be seen from every angle. The 18 karat royal gold setting exhibits a rich yellow color, which is a perfect contrast to the bold hues of the opal. This beautiful ring has a flattened bottom, or Euro shank, to ensure that the ring will not spin on your finger. Hand-engraved scrollwork completes the vintage look.
