Charlene Richard Medal – Pewter

$40.00

In stock

Featuring a beautiful portrait image of Charlene with the text ” Charlene Pray for us.” The pendant is made from lead free pewter and suspended from a 24″ stainless steel cable chain.
This is the only Charlene Richard pendant medal that is approved by the Richard family. As a matter of fact, her brother, John Dale Richard worked closely with Dianna Rae to design the pendant. He told us that the family had always wanted a medal made in her honor and he was so happy to finally find someone who could do it. This medal reminds all of us of the power of prayer.
The family-approved Charlene Richard antiqued pewter medal is available with a 24-inch stainless steel chain and comes in a gray velvet pouch with Charlene’s portrait on the front. A perfect gift!
CHARLENE RICHARD (1947 – 1959)
Charlene Marie Richard was born January 13, 1947. After being diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukemia, she died on August 11, 1959, at the age of 12. During her confinement in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, LA, Charlene would offer her prayers and suffering to God each day for the benefit of others. “She was a faith-filled little girl,” said Father Joseph Brennan, a priest for the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana, who was serving as hospital chaplain and ministered to Charlene during her final days.
