Dianna Rae Jewelry Wins 3 Awards in Statewide Design Competition

Dianna Rae Jewelry was awarded one 1st place and two 2nd place custom jewelry design awards at this year’s Jewelers of Louisiana Convention held in New Orleans, LA July 20-21, 2019. There are three category levels in the custom jewelry design competition, based on retail value. All pieces were judged on overall design, marketability, practicality/wearability, and craftsmanship. Only members of Jewelers of Louisiana were eligible to enter.

Dianna Rae Jewelry was awarded 1st place in the Level 3 Category (retail value of $6,001 and over) for ‘Harmony‘, an open and airy ring design featuring a stunning 5.78 carat oval cut green tourmaline at its center, and complete with diamond accents and hand engraved scrollwork. As a 1st place winner in its category, ‘Harmony’ will advance to the national level design competition, the 2020 Jewelers of America CASE Awards.

The 2nd place award in Level 3 also went to Dianna Rae Jewelry for ‘Aqua Motion‘, a reversible and flipable pendant featuring a striking 13.78 carat pear shaped aquamarine. This pendant can be worn four different ways to complete any outfit. One side is set in 14 karat yellow gold and features delicate hand engraving details, while the other side is set in 14 karat white gold and is complete with a halo of sparkling diamonds.

Another 2nd place award was given to Dianna Rae Jewelry, this time in the Level 1 Category (retail value up to $2,000) for ‘Daisy‘, a 14 karat white gold halo style ring with a 1.45 carat Brazilian opal at its center accented by aqua blue diamonds in the halo.
