Tell us how you met.
We both attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Pol played soccer, and I continued my volleyball career. We met one night at a historic mansion on campus and ended up exploring it together, not knowing that moment would mean so much. From the very beginning, there was an easy connection between us, like we had known each other for years.

Pol is originally from Spain and I’m from South Dakota, distance and differences have always inspired us to dive deeper into knowing one another. We spent countless nights talking, going on quiet walks, and engaging in such deep conversation about our goals and passions in life.

Tell the story of your proposal.
Pol proposed to me on March 6th, and it truly felt like a dream. He had traveled to Oklahoma to see me while I finish my degree and originally planned to take me back to the art museum—where we had our first date. But because of tornado warnings, he had to quickly change plans and chose a nearby garden instead.

During our walk, he suddenly got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Just minutes later, it started pouring rain, it was one of my favorite moments from the proposal! It wasn’t what we planned, but somehow it made the moment even more beautiful and unforgettable.

Tell us about the ring!
I love this ring for its simple elegance—it carries a modern, understated beauty while still holding the depth and charm of a vintage heirloom. It feels timeless in the best way. Pol and I went to Diana Ray together to pick it out!

Tell us about the wedding!
Our elopement will take place off the coast of California, surrounded by our families. We fell in love with this area because it feels like a blend of both of our worlds, meeting us right in the middle.

This August, we’re planning a big celebration in my backyard where we’ll gather with friends and family to watch our elopement film for the first time, reliving every moment together.
