Ivy and Natasha

At Dianna Rae Jewelry, we enjoy sharing the love stories of our customers because your story is our story. Read Ivy and Natasha’s story, from their longtime friendship, to the Christmas proposal, and why they love the vintage-inspired ring!

How They Met

Ivy and Natasha first met and became friends in the 6th grade. They were best friends in high school and even went to prom together, all the while remaining friends and never dating. Ivy asked Natasha out a couple of different times, but she always responded with a giggle and said that they were just friends — even though (as she admits now) she secretly liked him back then. They remained best friends as Natasha moved away to college. She would always call him for advice or for that shoulder to cry on when she needed a comforting voice. Natasha eventually got married and had two children. Years later, when her marriage ended in divorce, Ivy was there for her. He had dated over the years, but never got married. Ivy always said that Natasha was the one, and sixteen years after he first asked her out in high school, he asked Natasha out again. This time she said yes — and as they say, the rest is history!

The Proposal

Christmas has never been Natasha’s favorite time of year, but Ivy was determined to change that. He wanted to make Christmas special for Natasha again. So, what did Ivy do? He proposed around Christmas time and gave Natasha that special Christmas magic she had been missing.

The Ring

Set in 14 karat white gold and featuring a round center diamond, Natasha’s ring is a custom version of the Dianna Rae Original, Dahlia. The vintage-inspired design shows off flower petal crown prongs and milgrain accented leaves. Natasha and Ivy love its simplicity and its vintage detailing. They say they chose this ring because they are both old souls and love the vintage look.
