Our love story began just like any modern day romance – on Tinder! We had our first date at Pop’s Poboys and now we like to return every year for our anniversary.

Tell the story of your proposal.
Our proposal was on February 9th, 2024. We traveled to Boston, Massachusetts and then up to Jackson, New Hampshire. He proposed at the summit of the Lion’s Head Trail on Mount Washington. This “hike” was more of an ice climb. With our axes and crampons and mountain guide, we spent 5 hours getting to the top and he proposed near the edge of Tuckerman’s Ravine and Mount Washington’s Summit. He later told me that he had an Apple Airtag in the box with my ring in case it got lost in the climb and snow. He was ready and I had no idea!

Tell us about the ring!
I didn’t actually have any actual input into the design of my ring. Tyler set up a design consultation with Ellie (who is AMAZING) and with the help of my sisters (who each have their rings from Dianna Rae) and photos I not so secretly sent him over the years, I got my gold, oval, solitaire of my dreams. It could not be more perfect.

Tell us about the wedding!
We are getting married this year in New Orleans! We cannot wait to be married and nobody does weddings like New Orleans does weddings.
