How They Met

Sage and I met through mutual friends on my 18th birthday out. We had a blast with our friends all night! We saw each other periodically with our friends over the next few months but did not start officially dating until September 2014.

The Proposal

Sage did a wonderful job putting the surprise together. He got the ring all on his own and planned the proposal with little help. Sage had my nanny (who does photography on the side) make me believe she needed our help to take her sons 3 year old pictures at our farm with out cattle. I had no idea what was coming. We began the day following Finn around as he ran around in the field being a typical 3 year old. While I was distracted Sage got down on his knee behind me, when I turned around I was in complete shock all I could so was laugh. He asked me to marry him and of course the answer was YES!

The Ring

The ring I got was the ring I have always wanted but never dreamed I would ever have! It is a pear shaped halo with diamond down the band. I have always loved this shape and style. He had asked me over the years to see pictures of what I liked but he designed this ring on his own!
