Tell us how you met.
We met at a mutual friend’s house New Year’s Eve 2024 and talked all night by a fire. I ended up leaving and about 15 minutes after, Beau texted me saying that he “made” someone give me his number. We went on a date two days later and started dating a week after.

Tell the story of your proposal.
Beau proposed to me on December 20, 2025 at his family’s Christmas party in Centerville. He spoke with his cousin about a week before and they made a plan to have all the couples kiss under the mistletoe and take pictures. Beau hates taking pictures, so for me, I wasn’t surprised that we were going last. We kissed, I turned to look at everyone, and when I turned back, Beau was down on one knee. I was so surprised I told him to shut up and then I asked him if that was why he had been so nervous all day. And of course I said yes!

Tell us about the ring!
I am obsessed with my ring! I wanted something that had a vintage yet modern look, and simple at the same time. And my ring has every single one of those aspects. I actually walked into Dianna Rae to try different shapes on the see what I liked. I saw The Lavender online and once I tried it on, I fell in love with it. The only thing he knew was that I went there to look, but I had no idea that he went not long after I did to get the actual ring.
