Our Process

Our custom design process brings your vision to life through personalized collaboration, expert craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail.

1. Inspire

Custom design is unique to each person and project. Whether you’re updating a piece, remounting stones, or creating something entirely new, our designers will bring your vision to life.

Bring inspiration photos to help us understand your style. We’ll explore designs from our collection, portfolio, and jewelry playground to refine your preferences.

The goal of this initial design session is to learn your jewelry tastes, your budget, and your goals for the project. We’ll discuss what type of metal you’d like to use, what color and type of stones are appropriate for the design, and the size and shape of the stones. You might choose a loose stone that we have in store, or we may order stones more suited to your project for you to choose from. We’ll go over every possible detail to provide you with an accurate estimate.

Our in-house designers will walk you through the design and the estimate, ensuring you fully understand the scope of the project. We’ll listen to your feedback and make changes to the design as necessary to suit your taste and budget.

The goal of this design phase is to get a better understanding of exactly what you’re looking for. We will make changes to the render until you absolutely love it!

After approving the photorealistic image of your custom jewelry, you have the option to see and try on a full-scale 3D-printed prototype. With a $150 deposit—applied to your final purchase—we’ll create a detailed model, complete with placeholder gemstones, giving you a realistic preview of your finished piece. This step also allows us to test the gem fit and make any final adjustments to ensure perfection. Once you’re satisfied with the prototype, your design is ready for casting.

4. Complete

After your piece has been cast, our in-house jeweler gets to work adding the finishing touches to your piece. Your gemstones and diamonds will be expertly set by hand in our workshop. Finishing touches like hand engraving, milgrain accents, filigree, textures, and special finishes are also added.
