Created around a beautifully unique opal, Shimmering Bayou is everything Louisiana. When you look closely at the 9.81 carat Louisiana Opal, you will find that it is a sandstone in which the sand grains are bound together by a cement of clear precious opal. It is framed by perfectly clored accents of demantoid garnet and moonstone and topped with a Fleur de lis bail.
