Tell us how you met.
We met when I was 16 because I was best friends with his little sister who is my age. I told her one day when we were hanging out that I thought he was cute and she set us up together. Now we have been together for almost 6 years!

Tell the story of your proposal.
We had been talking about getting engaged for a little while before, but I was still so surprised. We were going to Baton Rouge for a concert and he set us up to have dinner at a beautiful botanical garden. I was a little suspicious but my sister and best friend did a great job in making me think that it wasn’t going to happen. We were walking around just looking at all the flowers and he said “I think this is a good spot” and when I turned around he was down on one knee!!

Tell us about the ring!
I absolutely loved my ring, it was everything I wanted and more! Ever since I saw the emerald cut I knew that’s what I wanted, and I’ve always liked the matching baguettes on the side. I’ve sent him some pictures of things I liked and he took that and put it all together! My favorite thing about the ring is that Mason designed it all himself, to me that makes it so special because he took his time and really put a lot of love into the ring!

Tell us about the wedding!
All the details are still in the works but we are thinking of doing a light colors and a lot of greenery. We still have a lot to do but having so much fun planning!
