Tell us how you met.
We were introduced by one of my childhood best friends, and from the beginning, Ben was determined to take me on a date. After weeks of running into each other through mutual friends, I finally said yes, and the rest is history! Our relationship has always felt so easy in the best way. We quickly became best friends, and everything seemed to fall into place so naturally. It truly was one of those “when you know, you know” kind of love stories.

Tell the story of your proposal.
The beach has always been my favorite place, but Ben had never been before we started dating, so naturally our first trip together had to be a beach vacation! We booked what we thought was just a random condo, but it ended up being the sweetest little spot in a resort community right at the entrance of 30A in Florida. We both instantly fell in love with the area and make a trip back every year. Little did I know, it would become even more special! A few days before Valentine’s Day, Ben surprised me with a trip back to our favorite beach town. I knew he was planning to propose soon, so I thought I had everything figured out at that point but I was so wrong! On Valentine’s Day, he had the entire day planned for us. That evening, we went for a walk on the beach before dinner, and when I saw rose petals in the sand, I realized what was happening. Ben proposed, and all of our friends and family came running down the beach! It was a complete surprise to me that anyone else was there! I was completely shocked and still can’t believe they all managed to keep it a secret. It was so fun listening to everyones stories of how they kept it a surprise! The first half of our trip was just the two of us and we got to spend the last couple of days with our friends and family. It was truly more special than anything I could have ever dreamed of!

Tell us about the ring!
My ring is so special to me because it is an original and it was designed by Ben! I told him I wanted a marquise shape and showed him a few inspo pics and left the rest up to him! It’s so beautiful and is everything I ever wanted. I get compliments on it everywhere I go!
