Tell us how you met.
Bryce and I first met in high school. He likes to tell people that he noticed me on the very first day of freshman year in a class we shared, and somehow he knew I would become someone important in his life. By sophomore year, we had become best friends.
At one point, I asked him out, but he told me he didn’t want to date in high school because he believed he would marry me someday and didn’t want a high school relationship to ruin what we could have in the future. Looking back, that makes our story even more special.
When senior year arrived, the world was turned upside down by COVID, but in September 2020, we finally started dating. Since then, we’ve been inseparable.
What makes our relationship so meaningful is that our love was built on a strong foundation of friendship first. He has always been my best friend, and I truly can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else. ❤️

Tell the story of your proposal.
On May 2, 2026, our lives changed forever.
Bryce proposed on his parents’ beautiful property, a place with one of the most breathtaking views you could ever imagine. I had absolutely no idea it was coming! All week, he had been telling me that he wanted to take me out to dinner to show how much he appreciated me and everything I do for him.
Before dinner, we took the side-by-side out to the property. Keep in mind, I was wearing a dress—but we’re country people, so I just went with it! As we were driving, he stopped in the middle of the driveway and asked if I wanted to take a picture together for our date night. I immediately thought it was strange because we never do that. He laughed and said, “I know, but you’re always fussing that we don’t have enough pictures together.”
I propped my phone up, set the 10-second timer, and got ready for the photo. Just as the camera was about to snap the picture, Bryce dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. The camera captured the exact moment he proposed—a memory we’ll cherish forever.
I was completely shocked, overwhelmed with joy, and beyond excited to say yes. In that moment, I knew we were beginning the most beautiful chapter of our lives together, and I can’t wait to spend forever with my best friend. ❤️💍✨

Tell us about the ring!
What I love most about my ring is that it will always remind me of the day we got engaged. While it’s absolutely stunning, it’s also timeless and elegant. The ring features a 3.05-carat oval-cut diamond set on a solid gold band. I knew I wanted a simple band, but I also wanted a “big rock” that would really stand out.
One of the most meaningful parts of my bridal set will be my wedding band. It will be made with diamonds from my great-grandmother’s and grandmother’s jewelry, making it a beautiful way to carry a piece of my family’s history with me every day. That sentimental connection makes it incredibly special to me.
Although Bryce and I designed the engagement ring together, I told him that if there was anything he wanted to add or change to make it uniquely his, I wanted him to have that opportunity. When we met with Ellie at Dianna Rae, she was absolutely wonderful. She made the entire process enjoyable, stress-free, and so easy, helping us create a ring that was everything I had envisioned and more.
Looking back, I wouldn’t change a single thing about the proposal or the journey that led us here. I’m so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. ❤️💍
