Tell us how you met.
We had a couple mutual friends on social media and had never met, but actually ended up going to school together at UL Lafayette! He was working as a strength coach intern with the Ragin Cajun Football Team and I was dancing on the Ragin Jazz Dance Team! I saw him one morning at our 6 o’clock am workouts, saw how cute he was, and decided to send him a message soon after! We hung out one time and the rest is history!

Tell the story of your proposal.
We took a weekend trip to Orange Beach! The day of the proposal, it actually rained all day. We planned on going to dinner that night hoping the rain would stop, so we just killed some time shopping around during the day! Once dinner got closer, the rain stopped! We ate some delicious food at a restaurant on the beach and walked on the beach after! As we were walking down to the beach, there were fireworks in the sky. It felt like a scene out of a movie! We walked up and down the beach just talking, and right before we left, he proposed! It was so special and intimate, I think I cried the whole time!

Tell us about the ring!
I saw a Dianna Rae Jewelry billboard and decided to give their website a look! I found the Lavender ring and was immediately obsessed!!! I always thought I wanted a very plain and simple ring, but this ring proved me completely wrong! Jax and I went on a little lunch date and decided to go visit the store! I tried the ring on and knew it was made for me!
