At Dianna Rae Jewelry, we enjoy sharing the love stories of our customers because your story is our story. Read Alex and Madison’s story, from their high school friendship to the Denver proposal and the meaningful custom ring.
Alex and Madison first met in high school. They had the same group of friends, so they were always together. The timing back then didn’t feel right to start dating, so they went their separate ways after high school and reconnected years later. This time, they both knew it was right when they realized they had the same idea about the direction they wanted their lives to go in.
On May 21, Alex and Madison embarked on Alex’s first plane ride — on a G6 jet. Alex had a work event in Denver and was able to convince his boss to let Madison tag along. Madison was told they were going to a nice dinner right when they landed, so she made sure to be dressed up. They arrived at The Daniels and Fisher Clock Tower for what she thought was pre-dinner drinks, only to walk into the biggest surprise of her life! Alex, the love of her life got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. In Madison’s words, “Crying the ugliest tears ever, I said the easiest yes of my life!”
To top it off, Madison’s dad ended up meeting Drew Brees soon after the proposal, and Drew Brees gave Alex and Madison a personal congratulations!
Madison’s ring is a custom version of the Dianna Rae Original, Magnolia, and includes Alex’s grandmother’s diamonds — making it truly special. Set in 14 karat white gold, a beautiful oval diamond is surrounded by a scalloped halo of round diamonds. Two baguette diamonds adorn the shoulders of the ring on each side. Madison says what she loves most about the ring is the personal touch of Alex’s grandmothers diamonds and all the details of the elegant design.
