We met in high school through a mutual friend/Quinten’s cousin, Hans! (Thank you buddy :))
It was at Jungle Gardens on Avery Island on May 4th, 2024. He planned for us to have lunch at the 1868 Tabasco Restaurant which was so delicious and fresh! After, we walked/drove through the gardens, stopping at all of the sights and taking pictures. He proposed under an oak tree by the bird sanctuary and it was so romantic and special! He hired a friend of ours to hide out nearby to capture the moment when he got on one knee. Quinten quoted the most beautiful scripture to me as he asked and I was completely speechless. We are so excited for this next step in life!
I love that Quinten added his own touch to the ring. We discussed lots of the details as to what I would like to see but he still had creative freedom because I wanted it to be something he loved and had fun designing for me. He added a baguette hidden halo on the rail and it’s the most perfect little hidden piece. I love the emerald center stone and the fact that it’s a solitaire style with split shank – you don’t see it often right now. It feels so timeless and elegant. I can’t stop looking down at my hand! I get butterflies!
Not married yet but we are enjoying the journey to getting there.
