HOW THEY MET

We met through mutual friends in 2020 right before the COVID shutdown. We started dating through FaceTime dates and had to get creative with Netflix watch parties for movie nights, online card games, and FaceTime dinners. Not only was there a global pandemic, but we also lived 2 hours apart.

THE PROPOSAL

On February 18th I was getting dressed to take the kids to dinner. I heard my 5 year old step daughter call me and my 3 year old son yelled for me to come quickly. I came out of the bathroom and into the kitchen where Patrick was on one knee and the kiddos were holding the ring. They were so excited they couldn’t hold still. Patrick had pulled my son to the side just before and gotten his blessing to propose, which he gave without a second thought! Patrick took the ring, gave a speech about our love story and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes! We took the kids out to eat at Copeland’s and they celebrated with as much cheesecake as their little tummies could hold.

I love the vintage style of the ring and how much thought he put into it with your help! From the metal type, to the setting to, to the stone. It’s absolutely perfect and fits my style. It was a complete surprise and he knocked it out the park.
