At Dianna Rae Jewelry, we enjoy sharing the love stories of our customers because your story is our story. Congratulations to Destin & Brianna, and thank you for sharing your love story with us.
Our love story started with a simple ‘like’ on facebook dating! Lol (don’t judge us). I didn’t respond to it for a few days because I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to pursue a relationship with anyone, I had just joined out of curiosity and boredom. But he looked adorable and something kept telling me to like him back, so I did. He messaged me soon after starting a conversation about the lanterns in one of my pictures. We’ve been in contact all day everyday since then!
We had been planning on taking a trip to Knoxville, Tennessee in October of 2021, and we were both so excited for it! Destin told me that he would like for us to get professional pictures taken while we were over there. He set up everything and he and the photographer decided on Cade’s Cove as the location for our pictures. When the day of the pictures came, we drove all the way there and then we were unable to make contact with the photographer because we had absolutely no phone signal and didn’t know what she was driving or what she looked like. After over an hour of trying to find her, we gave up and decided to drive through the scenic drive. We stopped at a tiny old church and went in to explore. I was looking out the door and when I turned back around he was on one knee with the ring in his hand. At first I thought he was joking so I told him to get up! But when I realized he was 100% serious I immediately said yes! We contacted the photographer and were able to take our pictures the next day, but he said he had to propose on the day he had originally intended to because he couldn’t wait any longer.
I have been in love with my ring since the moment that I saw it! We didn’t pick it out together, and I had no clue what it looked like before he proposed, although he did know that I was hoping it would come from Dianna Rae. Destin said that when he was shopping there one day and saw it, he knew it was the one! My favorite thing about the ring is the detailing on the band. I love small details, and I could sit and stare at the details on this ring all day long!
We got married on April 9th, 2022 at Cypress Grove Wedding Venue. Our style was very simple and rustic, and this venue fit it perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and we loved all of the greenery and that the flowers were starting to bloom! It truly was a perfect day.
