Tell us how you met.
Mason and I met in high school through mutual friends in 2018. I was a sophomore, and he was a freshman. We quickly became friends and started talking more and more. One night, we stayed up talking on the phone until 4 a.m., and somewhere during that conversation, we both realized that what we had was more than just a friendship.

Tell the story of your proposal.
Mason proposed on July 17, 2026, while we were on a family beach trip. The night before, he told me he was going golfing the next morning, so I had absolutely no idea what he really had planned. When I woke up that morning, there was a piece of paper at the bottom of the bed. It was too dark for me to read it, and somehow I couldn’t find my phone anywhere, so I jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom with the paper so I could read it. The note told me that I needed to unplug, enjoy the day with the people around me, and that I would see him that afternoon. From there, Mason had an entire day of surprises planned for me. I spent the morning at the beach with my family, had mimosas on the balcony, and was treated to a 60-minute massage. Later, I was given two dresses to choose from and told to get ready. Eventually, I was given a location on the beach where I was supposed to meet him. When I got there, Mason was waiting for me with flowers and champagne. He asked me to marry him, and of course, I said yes! I thought the surprises were over, but he had one more waiting for me. He told me we were going to meet my family for dinner to celebrate, but when I walked into the restaurant, his family and all of our friends were there too! He had planned for everyone we loved to be there to celebrate with us. It was a day filled with so much love, thought, and so many surprises.

Tell us about the ring!
What I love most about my ring is that it feels completely like me, while also being something Mason and I created together. I always knew I wanted a trilogy ring with a marquise center stone. I loved the timeless, elegant look of the marquise shape, and the three-stone setting made it feel even more special. Mason and I designed the ring together, so I was able to be part of choosing the shape and style I had always pictured. Now, when I look at my ring, I don’t just see something beautiful. I see something we chose and created together, and I love that it will always be a little piece of our story.
