How They Met

Adam and I first met through mutual friends. Adam was watching NBC with his friend, Sean, and saw me on a News 15 commercial. He made a comment to Sean about how he was wondering if I was single. Sean passed the word on to a friend who worked in our promotions department, who then approached me about Adam a few weeks later. I told him, “Sure, I’ll shoot him a text about a date!” We met a few nights after on my dinner break at Social for a drink. The rest is history.

The Proposal

One beautiful Sunday, Adam suggested that we go to Girouard Park with our dogs. We woke up late Sunday after a long night with friends and I struggled to get up. I threw on mismatched workout clothes even though he insisted I put on something a little nicer. I was stubborn and said I needed to sweat out the night before. We picked up some Puppuccinos and coffees then headed to the park. We walked around and made our way to the pier. We were discussing our future and the wonderful night with our friends when he said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. I blacked out once I realized what was happening. He got in one knee and pulled out the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen! I don’t know what the pups were up to during that whole thing. We cried and just let the moment sink in. It was a wonderful moment between just the two of us. It was perfect.

The Ring

With the guidance of Dianna Rae, Adam designed a radiant cut diamond engagement ring for me. It sparkles and is truly one of a kind. The experience was wonderful. Every little detail was considered and the design came to life with the help of everyone at Dianna Rae.
