How They Met

Addison and Nayomi have known each other since they were 16 years old — first introduced by mutual friends. They’ve been best friends ever since they were able to drive a vehicle. Before going off to college, they began dating and somehow they just knew they’d always be together. Fast forward to today ⁠— they have both graduated and are working full-time jobs. Addison has a job in finance, and Nayomi is an English teacher. In their own words, “As far back as we can remember, we’ve loved each other!”

The Proposal

Their proposal was a special moment shared at home. One day Nayomi came home to find rose petals on the floor and balloons hanging from the ceiling that said, “Marry Me.” Addison had completely surprised her! Nayomi says she loves that the moment was shared by just the two of them.

The Ring

When we asked Nayomi what she loved about the ring, this is that she said:

“I love how it’s simple, yet different. Who knew that would be possible? Addison knew I wanted a simple band, so he had them design a simpler, smaller one. I fell in love with the setting a long time ago, so I’d always hoped he’d choose it. All of Dianna Rae’s designs are beautiful. Addison has the highest of compliments when it comes to how helpful the staff was. He said they made him feel so welcomed and he loved every moment of designing the perfect ring for me.”

Set in white gold and featuring an oval diamond, Nayomi’s ring is a custom version of the Dianna Rae Original, Daisy Blossom.
