HOW THEY MET

Gabe & I met our first semester of college at LSUE in the Fall of 2017. Gabe and I took Biology 1001 together & we have been talking ever since. We started dating on December 1st, 2017 and have been together now for 4 years & 7 months and I couldn’t imagine having my life any other way.

THE PROPOSAL

On Saturday, July 16th 2022 we had a reservation with my family at Ruffino’s on the River & in my mind we were just there to celebrate my dad’s birthday but little did I know they had another surprise in store for me. We went outside to take family pictures and when it was our turn, that’s when Gabe got down on one knee and proposed. This day couldn’t have been more perfect and I can’t wait to start this new chapter of our life!

THE RING

I’m honestly at a loss of words about this ring. Ever since I was a little girl I always had an idea of what I wanted my dream ring to look like. I always loved the marquise cut and had my eye on this specific ring for a while. One day, Gabe and I went ring shopping just to get an idea of what I like. When trying the ring on, it only confirmed that I loved the ring even more & knew this was the one. I for sure knew I wanted a simple band & she was able to do just that. I love how genuine and helpful Dianna Rae was during the whole process & I’m so happy we chose Dianna Rae Jewelry for this special moment.
