How They Met

We met in college when Tyler had just graduated and I was still completing my undergrad. He was in a fraternity and I was in a sorority. We had met one night just hanging out around the Greek houses and eventually met each other. Took a few weeks to get back with each other after meeting, but we just clicked when we went on our first date and the rest is history!

The Proposal

So I do photography on the side and I’m always helping a main photographer in Lake Charles, so she called me a week before the proposal and asked me for my help with a photo shoot, and I said yes! So as we’re “waiting for the client”, my fiancé comes walking around the corner dressed in nice clothes, and I instantly knew what was going on. He got down on one knee and here we are 🙂 of course I was very unprepared, wearing a t-shirt and linen shorts and my nails weren’t even done! Definitely a surprise.

The Ring

I love my ring, mostly because it’s the most timeless style. I told him what I wanted and we went and looked at every place in town and there was nothing that stood out to me. So while I was out of town, Tyler drove to Lafayette and designed this ring just for me and it’s my favorite thing to wear. I was IN LOVE, and couldn’t believe he picked it out himself!
