Love Stories

Victoria Landry & Joshua Ardoin

Tell us how you met.
We met at the high school we work at. We had worked there together for several years before getting to know each other 2 years ago when our schedules for the year ended up having the same off hour.

Tell the story of your proposal.
Josh knew he wanted it to be at a church venue so he considered the Cathedral, St. Anne’s, and Fatima. But after seeing the stained glass at Fatima he knew it was the perfect backdrop. Fatima is also where I grew up going to church and is where we attend weekly mass. Since this is not the church we planned to have the actual wedding, Josh wanted to incorporate it into the proposal. He had my friends come in, hide in the pews, and take photos secretly of the proposal. He knew I wanted it to be a moment just for us, so he planned the perfect setting with only a couple of my friends, we went to dinner with just the two of us, and celebrated with family members the next day.

Tell us about the ring!
The ring could not be more perfect! I walked into Diana Rae with very little idea what I wanted, but knew that I wanted a marquise with a unique setting and the Lavender design at Diana Rae was exactly the style I had in mind! I decided I wanted white gold and wanted to make the original setting a bit larger, and Ronni was extremely helpful in helping us make the vision come to life! The design process was super easy and efficient.

Tell us about the wedding!
The wedding will be in May at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. We wanted the priest who is the chancellor at the school we work at as well as the priest who was the pastor at the church I attended through most of middle and high school to be our officiant, and this is his new church parish.
