Tell us how you met.
I was staying at a friend’s house and he was home on leave. He came to visit our friend as he knew her from high school while I met her in college. After he visited he asked her for my number and the rest is history!

Tell the story of your proposal.
We were on vacation in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. We were on our hike and we stopped at the waterfall to admire the view. We found a huge bolder that we were able to climb up and sit on. We were laughing and having a great time just talking and being together. Ian turned to me and told me he found a really cool rock down by the river we passed earlier and to close my eyes. Me and Ian both like collecting cool rocks so I didn’t think anything of it and closed my eyes. I remember saying “I don’t know why I’m closing my eyes for a rock but okay”. When I opened my eyes he had the engagement ring in his hand and he proposed. I was completely surprised and said yes! We took pictures and I have been smiling ever since!

I love my ring. It’s absolutely perfect! I honestly love how it is one of a kind and he put so much thought into it.

We are in the early stages of wedding planning! No matter where or when the wedding is I am just so happy to spend the rest of my life with him!
