Tell us how you met.
Alex and I met while studying abroad in Costa Rica—Alex was there with Nicholls, and I was there with UL. After the trip, we kept in touch, and we’ve been together ever since!!

It’s funny to think that we had to travel all the way to Costa Rica to meet, even though we only lived about two hours apart back home in Louisiana.

Tell the story of your proposal.
My best friend is getting married this September, and I am her MOH!! She told me we were going to take her bridals at Afton Villa Gardens in St. Francisville and wanted me to dress up so we could get a few pictures together for the memories!

Alex drove me there because we were planning to turn it into a couples weekend in St. Francisville after her bridals. Little did I know, there were no bridals—it was actually our proposal!!!

I gave Alex an idea of what I wanted and he picked all the final details!!! It came out even better than I could have imagined!!
